Visit us at SMM 2008

Again this year Easeacon will be reprecented at SMM 23-26. September 2008. Together with the other members of the Danish Export Association we will be in hall B1 on the ground floor.
Our stand number is B1. EG. 300 and we will be located juts next to the exit from hall B1 to hall B2.

Easeacon vessel no. 1,000

We are proud to announce that we have received order for vessel no. 1,000 for Easeacon - Cargo Planning & Loading Computer System.
No. 1,000 to 1,004 went to 4 MPV's ordered by Clipper, Denmark. The 4 newbuildings are to be built at Ben Kien Shipyard, Vietnam.
We are looking forward to be working with Clipper once again.
COSCO Oceania, largest container vessel built in China

On the morning of April 3, the 10,000-TEU container ship COSCO OCEANIA was christened and delivered at Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co.Ltd. With the successful building of COSCO OCEANIA, China has become the third country that can build 10,000-TEU container ship after South Korea and Denmark. COSCO OCEANIA is equipped with Easeacon - Cargo Planning & Loading Computer Systems and in the days after the christening, Søren Plum was on board the COSCO OCEANIA to finalize the installation of Easeacon.
Ship of the year 2008

The Lauritzen Kosan newbuild "Isabella Kosan" has won the Lloyd's List "Ship of the Year" award. We are proud to say that the onboard loading computer system is Easeacon, with online to the tank monitoring system, loading and discharging log facility, etc.
New orders - April 2008

Peene Werft in Germany has placed its first order for Easeacon, with 4 container vessels owned by JR Shipping. The first vessel, “Emotion”, is to be delivered in June 2008 and “Empire”, “Emperor” and “Empress” will follow during 2008/2009.
Esmeralda Schiffarhrts-Verwaltungs GmbH in Germany has placed their first Easeacon order. The two container vesssels “Marwa” and “Greta” and the bulk carrier “African Orchid” will be equipped with Easeacon during first half of 2008.
Easeacon har been ordered for “m/v Macao Strait” from Kouan Shipbuilding. The vessel has been chartered for 2 years by NileDutch Shipping and will be renamed to “NileDutch Qingdao”.
Oldendorff Carriers has ordered Easeacon for their bulk carrier “E. Oldendorff”. The bulk carrier is being rebuild to be self unloading, and will be ready for service in August 2008.
Vinalines has ordered Easeacon for their 4 bulk carriers to be built on Bach Dang Shipyard in Vietnam. The first vessel, “Diamond Falcon”, is to be delivered in May 2008 and the rest will follow during 2008/2009.
Shanghai Dingheng Shipping has ordered Easeacon for their 4 newbuildings from Dinghen Jiangsu. The 4 tankers are to be delivered during 2008/2009.
Cobelfret has ordered 6 Ro-Ro newbuildings from Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft mbH & Co. KG. The 6 vessels will be equipped with Easeacon and will be delivered during 2008/2009.
March 2008 - new employment

As Dan E. Pedersen has found new challenges elsewhere, we are glad to announce that Tania Linn Ottesen Nielsen has started working with us as of march 1st, 2008.
Tania is a master mariner with a background as chief officer in A.P. Moeller-Maersk’s fleet of container vessels. From 2006 to February 2008 she has been employed at Iver C. Weilbach in Copenhagen working in the publishing department. She has gained experience with customer service, publishing (maritime educational books, magazines and training material), production of software and has been working as an agent for Videotel Training Service.
Tania will be responsible for sales together with Sven Dyrdal and development together with Henrik M. Carlsen.
